Our glass bottom kayaks are the clearest, most stable of it's kind on the Silver River! They come with a sit-in-top design, which means they are well suited to all-weather paddling, stability is greatly increased and paddler comfort is enhanced. Our kayaks come with a transparent hull for underwater viewing all the way to the bottom, even the deepest springs in the river! This activity is for those who have already experienced our guided tour, are experienced paddlers and are able to navigate on their own. During this activity you'll share the water with alligators, turtles, several species of fish and birds. Our glass bottom kayaks give you the opportunity to view these "locals" in their natural habitat without ever getting into the water!

What To Expect
This 2hr self-guided rental starts & ends at Silver Springs State Park's kayak launch. A guide will go over a map & give a brief instruction before sending you off to explore some of Florida's clearest waters! You will paddle through the Ft King paddle loop trail, out into the Silver River through dozens of springs before ending at the starting point. You'll share the waterways with an abundance of wildlife such as manatees, alligators, monkeys, turtles, otters & several species of fish and birds!
***Our kayak rentals are for experienced paddlers who are capable of reading a map & navigating through nature with very little assistance. This is not suitable for beginners. Paddlers must be in good physical condition. Not recommended for people who are overweight, have back issues or heart problems.
-Booking here is per solo kayak with a max weight of 200lbs
-Double Kayaks (300lbs max) can be booked via our website ONLY
-Last minute changes & accommodations can not be made on site
